After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Algitas Girkantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Absoliut's supporters rose to their feet, but Algitas Girkantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprian Paciuszko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Absoliut booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Adamczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Algitas Girkantas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Thunderstorm Riders got a corner. Absoliut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonard Tworek ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Thunderstorm Riders's corner Leonard Tworek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vygandas Damašas quite easily take care of the ball. Thunderstorm Riders's Cyprian Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdas Ivanauskas in the 54th minute of play. Thunderstorm Riders's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
