With an all-out effort, Thunderstorm Riders's Vaclovas Jurkus threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wojciech Jajecznica, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 6th minute, Osvaldas Nutautas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Motiejus Baikštys in the 10th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Cyprian Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Algitas Girkantas came free, but Cyprian Paciuszko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Thunderstorm Riders getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jakub Lukowski hit a great ball. Motiejus Baikštys took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyprian Paciuszko. Cyprian Paciuszko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cyprian Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Girkantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Plachetka's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vaclovas Jurkus firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Jakub Lukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyprian Paciuszko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Motiejus Baikštys in the 28th minute of the match. Cyprian Paciuszko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Šarūnas Žvigaitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Albinas Spudys hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cyprian Paciuszko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algitas Girkantas in the 34th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Algitas Girkantas to make the kick off. Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Kasprzak in the 50th minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Absoliut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albinas Gudauskas to maneuver through the defense. Wojciech Jajecznica took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaclovas Jurkus. Vaclovas Jurkus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vaclovas Jurkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Jajecznica in the 59th minute of the match. Jakub Lukowski struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Vaclovas Jurkus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thunderstorm Riders. Thunderstorm Riders's Cyprian Paciuszko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Thunderstorm Riders from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute of the match, Valdas Ivanauskas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cyprian Paciuszko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Osvaldas Nutautas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Cyprian Paciuszko made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Thunderstorm Riders's Jakub Lukowski got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Absoliut eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
