Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Tono in the 59th minute of play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Gaston Mendebal sped through Ferreira Lopes MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomé Montenegro. Severo Tono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Severo Tono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Mendebal came free, but Tomé Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
