DESTROY's attack was well implemented in the 6th minute, but when Brennan Johnson was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Silverio Gonsalve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the game, Mijdrecht Maffia's Teun Moek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Gonsalve made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Silverio Gonsalve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 西门 亮's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. If Geert Rademaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 西门 亮 in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the DESTROY defense, 西门 亮 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Gonsalve. The DESTROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Gonsalve should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teun Moek in the 28th minute of play forced DESTROY's goalkeeper Silverio Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Brennan Johnson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mirko Vervoort saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st minute Geert Rademaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhuang Hai Xu. Juvenal Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Silverio Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Maradona was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Juvenal Vaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Gonsalve was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. That made the score 0-8 after 63 minutes of play. After 65 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Favila. In the 67th minute, Placido Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DESTROY's Nicolaas Tagliafico was substituted for Serafin Servando. 79 minutes into the game, 西门 亮 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silverio Gonsalve. 西门 亮 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juvenal Vaz in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Gonsalve saved DESTROY from getting behind. Silverio Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuang Hai Xu in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute Zhuang Hai Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Vervoort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Mijdrecht Maffia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DESTROY throughout the match.
