João Augusto Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eugen Remus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Tola in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes Greenbay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Tola who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Milanis E.C.'s Zé Tola to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugen Remus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. João Augusto Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Alderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurgain Ruiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Eugen Remus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. João Augusto Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik-Jan Niemeyer in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Milanis E.C. got a corner. Greenbay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Tola ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fernando de Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugen Remus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Milanis E.C.'s Fahl Gattuso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rupert Alsop in the 28 minute of the game. João Augusto Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Alderson in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Zé Tola made a precise shot to the right of Eugen Remus. Greenbay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. João Augusto Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Almiron, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. João Augusto Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Shakespeare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rupert Alsop kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper João Augusto Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andre Shakespeare. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Kaká Sarmento got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Milanis E.C.'s João Augusto Simões got control of the ball when Andre Shakespeare tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Will Alderson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Augusto Simões. Will Alderson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 73rd minute Will Alderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milanis E.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tyler Morton was slow to take the kick. During this time Greenbay's players had a chance to rest. João Augusto Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Alderson in the 81st minute of the match. João Augusto Simões had great luck who in the 81stth minute grab hold of the ball when Will Alderson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 85th minute Laurgain Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Augusto Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Alderson in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Alsop to maneuver through the defense. Greenbay's Eugen Remus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Tola in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Miguel Almiron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Augusto Simões. The goal made the score 2-5. When the match was over Greenbay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Milanis E.C. throughout the match.
