Gunvald Glarkrog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Saxon's Sylwester Bejrut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gunvald Glarkrog. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Bubczyk in the 13th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Bejrut kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gunvald Glarkrog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Bubczyk in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Sylwester Bejrut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunvald Glarkrog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Oper came free, but Gustaw Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Bejrut came free, but Gunvald Glarkrog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Oper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Lech having to interfere. Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andres Oper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustaw Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Oper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saxon's zone, Andres Oper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaw Lech came out of the goal and Andres Oper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Gunvald Glarkrog successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Antoni Bubczyk came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Saxon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoni Bubczyk couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeusz Siekierka to make the kick off. Gunvald Glarkrog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Banaszak in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Sivart Djursgård got a free kick in the 60th minute. Strib Galacticos IF made a substitution. Bo Mcquoid replaced Ros Endal. If Andres Oper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Bejrut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Siekierka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunvald Glarkrog. Strib Galacticos IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeusz Siekierka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Gunvald Glarkrog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Banaszak in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Mcquoid to maneuver through the defense. Strib Galacticos IF's Hagbard Ribov was substituted for Andres Oper. After 78 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Bo Mcquoid. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Siekierka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Siekierka in the 82nd minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Bubczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaw Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hagbard Ribov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Hagbard Ribov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustaw Lech. The goal made the score 3-1. 92 minutes into the match, Hagbard Ribov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustaw Lech. FC Saxon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hagbard Ribov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Gunvald Glarkrog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Pierz in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Strib Galacticos IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Saxon.
