Gunter Roeckeloes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Bucciarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Cromvelde's Gunter Roeckeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Oskitz in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aurelio Astudillo, passed just outside the right post. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Chepe came free, but Gunter Roeckeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunter Roeckeloes having to interfere. Concetto Cesare hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Claudio Bucciarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt in the 38th minute of play. Willem-Alexander Vercauteren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Bucciarelli was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute Delmar Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunter Roeckeloes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Oskitz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Aurelio Astudillo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Cromvelde's Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt. But to his dismay, Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Bucciarelli in the 75th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Gunter Roeckeloes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Gunter Roeckeloes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Chepe. Gunter Roeckeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Oskitz in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Matias Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, San Lorenzo 11's Gunter Roeckeloes threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delmar Oskitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the KFC Cromvelde defense, Matias Chepe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunter Roeckeloes. The KFC Cromvelde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunter Roeckeloes should have stopped the shot. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Quillian Cromefeldt replaced Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quillian Cromefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match KFC Cromvelde got a corner. San Lorenzo 11's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tuur Gheysen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led KFC Cromvelde's Quillian Cromefeldt to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Astudillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
