Spectators: 7979 (Terracing: 5985, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudio Bucciarelli made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute Ted Borker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Oskitz in the 11th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Chepe in the 12th minute of play. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Borker, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo 11 defense, Ted Borker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Astudillo. The San Lorenzo 11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Astudillo should have stopped the shot. After 19 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Ted Borker made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ted Borker struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Aurelio Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ágætis Byrjun. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo 11's zone, Ted Borker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Astudillo came out of the goal and Ted Borker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maraman Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Chepe in the 38th minute of the match. The corner led Ágætis Byrjun's Ted Borker to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Astudillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Bucciarelli. 45 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Borker came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's Ted Borker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ágætis Byrjun defense, Matias Chepe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maraman Reitsma. The Ágætis Byrjun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maraman Reitsma should have stopped the shot. Aurelio Astudillo was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Ted Borker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ted Borker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After having played for 63 minutes, Ted Borker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Borker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Oskitz in the 67th minute of play. Aurelio Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Feddo Reitsma sent off a good shot on target. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th play minute Ted Borker came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aurelio Astudillo. 1-5. Ágætis Byrjun's Ton Kort was substituted for Fokke Reitsma. In the 82nd minute, Ágætis Byrjun's Laurens Erenstein dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Laurens Erenstein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Astudillo having to make a save. After 92 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Laurens Erenstein made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ágætis Byrjun eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
