In the 9th match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Dantas to maneuver through the defense. 尹强震 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Linhares having to interfere. In the 15th minute Jorginho Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庞辰延 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 庞辰延 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Silveira went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Didi Salles threw the ball into play from the sideline. 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's 吕桑景 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dorival Linhares made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when 尹强震 sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 尹强震 in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorival Linhares saved PIRATAS TFP from getting behind. 康瑜平 kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PIRATAS TFP's zone, 尹强震 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Linhares came out of the goal and 尹强震 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cafu Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 庞辰延 having to make a save. 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's 庞辰延 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Silveira in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

PIRATAS TFP:s Dorival Linhares showed great skill when he stopped 乔明磊:s penalty. In the 83rd minute 广州太阳神足球俱乐部 were awarded a corner. 程康明 went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PIRATAS TFP's goalie and right to 麦辰然. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PIRATAS TFP's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
