Spectators: 8048 (Terracing: 6037, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 160) Deportivo Pergamino's Ciro Socorro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Ponce got free with Alonzo Atarrabi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute of the match, Carmelo Ponce got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alonzo Atarrabi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16th match minute, El coca fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Urko to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Pergamino's Felipe Sidro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafino Lopez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alonzo Atarrabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Matxin in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Maximiliano Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pergamino's zone, Angelino Urko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Atarrabi came out of the goal and Angelino Urko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ciro Socorro sped through El coca fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafino Lopez. Dionisio Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Lopez having to interfere. Alonzo Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Ponce was the one to do the kick off. When Osvaldo Ardiles came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the El coca fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Ardiles couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Socorro in the 58th minute of play forced El coca fc's goalkeeper Serafino Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Jakobe in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pergamino's zone, Arsenio Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Atarrabi came out of the goal and Arsenio Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Angelino Urko fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El coca fc's protests and gave Angelino Urko a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo Pergamino booed when El coca fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Urko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Luisito Fernanco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafino Lopez. Luisito Fernanco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 83rd match minute, Deportivo Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Ardiles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Deportivo Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Llorenc to maneuver through the defense.
