In the 5th minute, one of Real Kuskatan C.F.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Kuskatan C.F.. Fred Haney had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Moritz Christe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Raúl Pimentel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Academica Pulheim's Carl Kröger in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Christe in the 22nd minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Fred Haney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Haney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Kröger, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Academica Pulheim defense, Feliks Drzewucki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercole Armellini. The Academica Pulheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Armellini should have stopped the shot. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Fred Haney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Kröger in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Moritz Christe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Haney was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Fred Haney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moritz Christe in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Carl Kröger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ruben in the 44th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Ercole Armellini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kuskatan C.F.'s zone, Moritz Christe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Haney came out of the goal and Moritz Christe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moritz Christe was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moritz Christe came free, but Fred Haney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Meinolf Rebe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academica Pulheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Kuskatan C.F. the free kick. Academica Pulheim's Ercole Armellini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feng Hao Hui in the 77th minute of play. Fred Haney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Gomminginger in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Gomminginger in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Haney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Fred Haney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moritz Christe. Carl Kröger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fred Haney came out and tried to block the shot, but Carl Kröger slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Academica Pulheim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
