The supporters of Vila Mascote FC booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Colaneri didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Rosa came out of the goal and Anfilogino Imperiale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele Monzeglio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Sarmento in the 30th minute of play. Kaká Mota was slow to take the kick. During this time Vila Mascote FC's players had a chance to rest. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Délio Peixotos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Daniele Monzeglio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montesacro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Vila Mascote FC. Kaká Mota stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniele Monzeglio. 0-1. In the 81st minute, Anselmo Robbiati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniele Monzeglio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Sarmento in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Vila Mascote FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Natã Castro hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Vila Mascote FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Eger. Anselmo Robbiati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Rosa having to interfere. Daniele Monzeglio came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Mascote FC's Zhang Zheng Liang. But to his dismay, Zhang Zheng Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vila Mascote FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
