The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dacian Dudea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Mota in the 7th minute of the match. Vintilă Arieșan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. William Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Dacian Dudea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Baiano in the 15th minute of play. Dacian Dudea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doru Cârju. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilie Balaci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving William Rosa. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Dacian Dudea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Dacian Dudea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Baiano in the 28th minute of play. William Rosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilie Balaci in the 29th minute. Jean Sarmento's late challenge caught a F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Jean Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Délio Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Dudea having to interfere. In the 34th minute, José de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Tomulescu to maneuver through the defense. If Kaká Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Vila Mascote FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. João Francisco Baiano hit a great ball. Doru Cârju hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Grooss to maneuver through the defense. When Kaká Mota came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Vila Mascote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Mota couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Délio Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila Mascote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Dudea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dacian Dudea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Brito in the 60th minute of the match. William Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Cârju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Arieșan in the 67th minute of play. Jean Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Dacian Dudea got control of the ball when Kaká Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Vintilă Arieșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Vila Mascote FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pascal Grooss took the corner. The corner ended in Pascal Grooss almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa did a great save. Pascal Grooss succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-0! F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Dacian Dudea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Mota in the 91st minute of play. William Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Balaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaká Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Dudea having to interfere. The F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
