The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Rosa made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sydney Quirino sent off a good shot on target. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Peixoto in the 10th minute of the match. Teofil Zjawin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but William Rosa made a huge save. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. William Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Shantala in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Teofil Zjawin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Mota came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Rosa was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Teofil Zjawin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teofil Zjawin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Shantala in the 46th minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Osvaldo Shantala made a precise shot to the right of William Rosa. Vila Mascote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 58 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Délio Peixoto. Kaká Mota received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emerson Leão came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaká Mota slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 61st minute. William Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ made a substitution. Vicente Varela replaced Sydney Quirino. William Rosa came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Vicente Varela. But to his dismay, Vicente Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Emerson Leão made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Kaká Mota sent off a good shot on target. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhang Zheng Liang in the 78th minute of play. William Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Shantala in the 83rd minute of play. Kaká Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Osvaldo Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Shantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Augusto Brito's late challenge caught a CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Brito helped the player get up and apologised. José Augusto Brito hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Shantala in the 96th minute of play. Vila Mascote FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
