The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Toon Adriaensens hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 8th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Gaueko Nanclares came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in ALIDIM FOR EVER fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Kickers United a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomás Firmin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ALIDIM FOR EVER's Jonatan Cordarrell. 0-1. In the 21st minute, Lode Rouvroys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Cordarrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lode Rouvroys scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Cordarrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaueko Nanclares in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cederik Huts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonatan Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lode Rouvroys in the 33rd minute of play. Lode Rouvroys might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Cordarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lode Rouvroys ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Lode Rouvroys came free, but Jonatan Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lode Rouvroys took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Cordarrell. Jonatan Cordarrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 47 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Lode Rouvroys.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lode Rouvroys was the one to do the kick off. Lode Rouvroys received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonatan Cordarrell came out and tried to block the shot, but Lode Rouvroys slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 54th minute. If Dino Maquiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jonatan Cordarrell managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Kickers United's Lode Rouvroys fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonatan Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lode Rouvroys, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaueko Nanclares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kickers United's Blas Lertxun got a free kick in the 77th minute. ALIDIM FOR EVER made a substitution. Damian Orlo replaced Lisandro Soin. ALIDIM FOR EVER made a substitution. Alfredo Gudesteo replaced Enrique Porfirio. Jonatan Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lode Rouvroys, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jonatan Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lode Rouvroys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Lode Rouvroys made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Cordarrell. ALIDIM FOR EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Jonatan Cordarrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save ALIDIM FOR EVER from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute of the match Kickers United got a corner. ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomás Firmin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Kickers United's corner Tomás Firmin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonatan Cordarrell quite easily take care of the ball. The Kickers United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kickers United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
