After 17 played minutes Elmtaryd Agunnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Göransson. Alfred Markowski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Aaron Ramsdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Torbjörn Berg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yanto Tarumanagara. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Fernando Morientes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bleber FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The throw-in from Birger Vikström in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bleber FC's Syahril Subagdja. In the 44th minute, Lari Krossing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Morientes in the 46th minute of play forced Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Berg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Morientes in the 53rd minute of play. Yanto Tarumanagara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Berg in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Torbjörn Berg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yanto Tarumanagara was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The supporters of Bleber FC booed when Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position.
