In the 39th minute Luca Savino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Saver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Blas Lertxun. Luca Savino hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Jock Tare ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Savino in the 47th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Big Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cederik Huts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jock Tare in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

57 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Jock Tare came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Big Saver dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Kickers United were awarded a corner. Tomás Firmin went to the cornerflag to take it. Denis Pumnu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Huts having to interfere. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Doloman in the 83rd minute of play. Cederik Huts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jock Tare's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kickers United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
