After 17 played minutes, StraX Xenon FC's Pelle Smedfeldt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bassam El Makhtoub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in StraX Xenon FC reached it. Naser Awat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Olofsson having to interfere. Dahir Ilias's late challenge caught a StraX Xenon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dahir Ilias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Líbano getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Dahir Ilias hit a great ball. Bassam El Makhtoub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Palmkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Torbjörn Brummer could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Bassam El Makhtoub however easily saved by the left post. Imad Abdul Fattah hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Abdul Jabbar Yazan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Bassam El Makhtoub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Gernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Hellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torbjörn Brummer made a kick off. Torbjörn Brummer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bassam El Makhtoub having to make a save. In the 51st minute, Jonas Hellqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bassam El Makhtoub was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 54th minute Naser Awat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Otto Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. StraX Xenon FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Abdul Ghani Rihad scored to the left of an out of position Mattias Olofsson, making the score, 2-1. With a little luck, StraX Xenon FC's Mattias Olofsson got control of the ball when Rafiq Bahir tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Líbano got a corner. StraX Xenon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mohammad Fareed ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute, Líbano's Dahir Ilias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dahir Ilias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Líbano protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dahir Ilias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dahir Ilias hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. StraX Xenon FC made a substitution. Rikard Arhenius replaced Hugo Gernberg. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Tomas Asserlindh sped through Líbano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bassam El Makhtoub. Bassam El Makhtoub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Bassam El Makhtoub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Asserlindh went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. StraX Xenon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Brummer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Naser Awat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but StraX Xenon FC's Mattias Olofsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Tomas Asserlindh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bassam El Makhtoub. Líbano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Asserlindh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 97th minute, Tomas Asserlindh made a precise shot to the right of Bassam El Makhtoub. Líbano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The StraX Xenon FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Líbano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
