Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anatoly Karpov kicked off to start the match. After 5th play minutes Ildefonso Joey shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Vladimir Kramnik and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ceferino Austin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Vladimir Kramnik to make any attempt to save it. In the 12th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Mugur to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Austin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Kramnik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Shuspendemo's Bernardo Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoly Karpov in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Shuspendemo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Erasmo Raitin hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Anatoly Karpov came free, but Bernardo Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Austin in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Anatoly Karpov notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Shuspendemo's Bernardo Vasco. Bernardo Vasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ceferino Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shuspendemo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimir Kramnik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Shuspendemo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eustaquio Totakoxe hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Joey to make the kick off. Garry Kasparov kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Shuspendemo's Bernardo Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoly Karpov in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Vali Mitu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Mugur to maneuver through the defense. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Rodolfo Berasko replaced Ceferino Austin. In the 60th minute, Ştefan Mugur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Kramnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Berasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Bobeica kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Berasko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Bernardo Vasco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vladimir Kramnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, José Capablanca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Maci -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shuspendemo the free kick. José Capablanca kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Berasko in the 91st minute of play.
