Eurico Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Eurico Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Vasco was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Eurico Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Viana got free with Bernardo Vasco in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Vasco came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Nonatos United's Eurico Viana. But to his dismay, Eurico Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eurico Viana might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Vasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eurico Viana ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Bernardo Vasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eurico Viana. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Bernardo Vasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasmo Raitin's late challenge caught a Nonatos United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Raitin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Shuspendemo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erasmo Raitin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Shuspendemo's zone, Eurico Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Vasco came out of the goal and Eurico Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Bernardo Vasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eurico Viana. 33 minutes into the game, Nonatos United's Eurico Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Vasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Eurico Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Viana in the 36th minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Bernardo Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 40th minute of the match Erasmo Raitin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erasmo Raitin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nonatos United made a substitution. Téo da Silva replaced Ion Hritcu. Erasmo Raitin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nonatos United booed when Shuspendemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Vasco. Shuspendemo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Austin made a kick off. Ceferino Austin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Shuspendemo's Bernardo Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Viana in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Ceferino Austin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard-Dean Textex. The goal made the score 4-1. Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Nonatos United from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Shuspendemo's zone, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Vasco came out of the goal and Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Rodolfo Berasko replaced Ceferino Austin. Téo da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Viana in the 74th minute of play. Bernardo Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Shuspendemo defense, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Vasco. The Shuspendemo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Vasco should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute Eurico Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Urbano Medero in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nonatos United's João Pedro de Amaral. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Raebert during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Raebert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri in the 92nd minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Bernardo Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Nonatos United fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Nonatos United's Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nonatos United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Shuspendemo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
