In the 8th minute, Vali Mitu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Lucian made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Maci -MM-'s José Capablanca. Anatoly Karpov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicanor Tipi having to make a save. Error 404's Nicanor Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoly Karpov in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Vali Mitu hit a great ball. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Sayvion in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Anatoly Karpov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicanor Tipi was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 30th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Brad to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Kramnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes, Garry Kasparov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maci -MM- and the Error 404 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garry Kasparov to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Bobeica charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidiu Bobeica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Error 404 got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Lucian. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Igor Nikola made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Piearres in the 56th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garry Kasparov was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 57th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garry Kasparov to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Error 404's Apolo Sayvion dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After 74 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vali Mitu. After 79 minutes, Conrado Ramond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Error 404 and the FC Maci -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Conrado Ramond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nechifor Brad kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Igor Nikola came free, but Vladimir Kramnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emanuel Lasker fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maci -MM-'s protests and gave Emanuel Lasker a yellow card for diving instead. Apolo Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nechifor Brad managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Brad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Tipi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes of play FC Maci -MM-'s Nechifor Brad was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nechifor Brad kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The FC Maci -MM- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Error 404 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
