Vlad Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Håning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Matías Giménez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Giménez came free, but Vlad Joldea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vlad Joldea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Giménez in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Vlad Joldea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Hackspett U21's attentive Dimas Candeias managed to snatch the ball when Romuald Requena made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Jan-Ove Håning's late challenge caught a Tours Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Ove Håning helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jan-Ove Håning hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Alvin Brenner made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Ove Håning received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vlad Joldea came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Ove Håning slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan-Ove Håning kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vlad Joldea. That made the score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. Tony Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Koehler in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, FC Hackspett U21's Jan-Ove Håning nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vlad Joldea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Tours Football Club made a substitution. Marcel Singer replaced Willy Sauvestre. Tours Football Club's Alain Dennemont was substituted for Ulysse Houssais. Tours Football Club's attentive Guy Jourdan managed to snatch the ball when Fred Ånger made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. FC Hackspett U21's Ruben Pirro was substituted for Well-Well Wing. In the 76th minute, one of FC Hackspett U21:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Hackspett U21. Émeric Giraudo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 81 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's Jan-Ove Håning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vlad Joldea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Marcel Singer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles-Emmanuel Camilleri made a great header on Tours Football Club's corner, it was just that FC Hackspett U21's Tony Henriksson managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Émeric Giraudo in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Tony Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
