After a defensive mix-up in INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's zone, Andrzej Sawicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisson Goycochea came out of the goal and Andrzej Sawicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Ezio Gøl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstanty Klimkiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezio Gøl to strike the kick off in the second half.
