In the 3rd minute, Sydney Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sydney Velloso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anak Habib firmly grabbed it by the left post. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by SAPI FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nilson Hoffmann was slow to take the kick. During this time A A Arizona's players had a chance to rest. The corner led A A Arizona's Nilson Hoffmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Anak Habib despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hu Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bawang Merah, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by A A Arizona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jens-Erik Mårtensson was slow to take the kick. During this time SAPI FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SAPI FC's corner Jens-Erik Mårtensson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hu Zhen Hong quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bawang Merah in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hu Zhen Hong saved A A Arizona from getting behind. Sydney Vellosos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Anak Habib to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A A Arizona were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after SAPI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilson Hoffmann took the corner. Bawang Merah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hu Zhen Hong having to make a save. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bawang Merah in the 21st minute of play. Anak Habib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Anak Habib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Paiva in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, SAPI FC's Bawang Merah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hu Zhen Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to SAPI FC's Adalberto Marquez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 38th minute Daffa Sopandi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Nilson Hoffmann's late challenge caught a SAPI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilson Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Alfredo Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bawang Merah in the 43rd minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Alfredo Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anak Habib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hu Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bawang Merah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half SAPI FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bawang Merah to strike the kick off in the second half. Anak Jamet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hu Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A A Arizona's Jorge Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, SAPI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Froila to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, SAPI FC's Bawang Merah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hu Zhen Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bawang Merah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Hu Zhen Hong made a huge save. Anak Habib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bawang Merah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hu Zhen Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, SAPI FC's Bawang Merah ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hu Zhen Hong. Hu Zhen Hong yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After a rather tough play, SAPI FC's Camilo Froila got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Bawang Merah made a precise shot to the right of Hu Zhen Hong. A A Arizona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 94th minute Bawang Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Luiz Paulo de Queirós got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 98th minute of the match SAPI FC got a corner. A A Arizona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens-Erik Mårtensson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SAPI FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
