Mark Flecken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osvaldo Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolland Sallai, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's Jacinto Sanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Flecken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Falconara Albanese's Osvaldo Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolland Sallai in the 29th minute of play. Osvaldo Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Schmedes in the 32nd minute of the match. Jacinto Sanson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Flecken having to make a save. 36 minutes into the game, Hartwig Kuhn threw the ball into play from the sideline. Falconara Albanese's Raimundo Domingues quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ricardo Tab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Mark Flecken made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s zone, Jacinto Sanson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice moves Junior Adamu could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Osvaldo Vergaray however easily saved by the left post. If Ricardo Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tercero came free, but Mark Flecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Falconara Albanese.
