Sune Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurre Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute of the match, Benito Laurin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Justin Abril saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sune Rudberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurre Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Flavinho Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavinho Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcell Pécsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurre Villa in the 18th minute of the match. Justin Abril made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcell Pécsi in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goal looked a bit too open when Marcell Pécsi came free, but Justin Abril reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Aurre Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UE Cornella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 37th minute UE Cornella were awarded a corner. Edvin Vennerberg went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 41st minute Benito Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Abril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurre Villa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcell Pécsi to strike the kick off in the second half. Sune Rudberg was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Quin Camaño capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Quin Camaño really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The throw-in from Edvin Vennerberg in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Benito Laurin. UE Cornella's Justin Abril played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Laurin in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Laurin in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justin Abril saved UE Cornella from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Benito Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Abril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Abril took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcell Pécsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevinn De Bruyne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sune Rudberg made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurre Villa in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sune Rudberg saved ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ from getting behind. During the 70th minute of the match Giuliano Basso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Giuliano Basso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 71 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Giuliano Basso. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Adriano Schmidt was substituted for Cristian Paraense. Sune Rudberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kevinn De Bruyne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. In the 78th minute Benito Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Abril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UE Cornella were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
