Delfim Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Čáp in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when SAPRIMECKBEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Bács didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Galo do Japi's Corryn Veloz to fire away a dangerous shot which Oscar Federspiel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the SAPRIMECKBEL defense, Chico Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Federspiel. The SAPRIMECKBEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Federspiel should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Mićo Grande in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Nuno Tavares. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Čáp in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to SAPRIMECKBEL getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jaime Quiros hit a great ball. Oscar Federspiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Oscar Federspiel had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Chico Valadares from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 33rd minute of the match Galo do Japi got a corner. SAPRIMECKBEL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Falcão Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Galo do Japi's Falcão Duarte was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oscar Federspiel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute Kerry Flöter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on SAPRIMECKBEL's corner Cesar Larra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Delfim Chaves quite easily take care of the ball. If Kerry Flöter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kerry Flöter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Chico Valadares. Kerry Flöter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delfim Chaves having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Attila Bács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chucky Norris in the 65th minute of play forced SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Oscar Federspiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Federspiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Valadares in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Valadares came free, but Oscar Federspiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galo do Japi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Falcão Duarte in the 70th minute. Delfim Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidónio Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Quiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Valadares in the 78th minute of play forced SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Oscar Federspiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Federspiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chucky Norris, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Valadares came free, but Oscar Federspiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidónio Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Federspiel came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Falcão Duarte. But to his dismay, Falcão Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 93rd minute Chico Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Federspiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Chaves made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Sidónio Silva sent off a good shot on target. Delfim Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Ruiz in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Galo do Japi could leave the field as winners, despite SAPRIMECKBEL having more of the ball for most of the match.
