Willy Herzog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Cesarini, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Constantin Ionaș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khamzat Chimaev in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș got control of the ball when Stellan Lund tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alifonso Apablaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Andolín Duvauchelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Herzog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Andolín Duvauchelle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willy Herzog. Tunge Titans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andolín Duvauchelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Constantin Ionaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khamzat Chimaev in the 27th minute of the match. When Tunge Titans's Henry Dalström in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cobresal's goalie prevented a goal. Willy Herzog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alifonso Apablaza in the 30th minute of play. Zelipe Recabarren made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tunge Titans's Werner van Dam. In the 33rdth minute of the game Henry Dalström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantin Ionaș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Dalström went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Constantin Ionaș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Dalström in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Cobresal's Andolín Duvauchelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willy Herzog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tunge Titans's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alifonso Apablaza was slow to take the kick. During this time Cobresal's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cobresal's corner Alifonso Apablaza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Willy Herzog quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andolín Duvauchelle to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Alifonso Apablaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Herzog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 51st match minute, Tunge Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Salles to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Cobresal got a freekick which was hit by Celino Alico. Renato Cesarini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alifonso Apablaza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Willy Herzog came out and tried to block the shot, but Alifonso Apablaza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Cobresal's José Julio Dudagoitia was substituted for Rainerio Barrientos. In the 70thth minute of the game Alifonso Apablaza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tunge Titans's Willy Herzog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantin Ionaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stellan Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tunge Titans supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cobresal's performance. The match ended with a win for Cobresal.
