Ziemowit Gdowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Adrian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicki Nick in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Gdowski. In the 24th minute Nicki Nick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ZigZag Athletic were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Viseu United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hector Ares took the corner. 30 minutes into the game, Jiang Lin Xing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viseu United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZigZag Athletic the free kick. Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Gdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Nicki Nick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Öman. Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Nicki Nick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZigZag Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Gdowski in the 53rd minute of play. After 69 played minutes Nicki Nick rounded Viseu United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. In the 72nd minute, Jacek Zjawin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hamílton Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Viseu United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Linhares couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in ZigZag Athletic's zone, Valter Bentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Akif Ersoy came out of the goal and Valter Bentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Viseu United from getting a goal against them. Nicki Nick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Bentes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
