Armel Zettiņš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blažej Ravanelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Konrad Hatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Edson Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Steve Gerrard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Armel Zettiņš made a huge save. In the 20th minute Steve Gerrard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armel Zettiņš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aigeus Milionis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armel Zettiņš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Simões in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match, Wawrzyniec Lewandowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armel Zettiņš saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 29 minutes, Blažej Ravanelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hahay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blažej Ravanelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute Kaká Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigeus Milionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aigeus Milionis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval Simões's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Ulysses Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivedos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hahay the free kick. The long shot by Gökmen Parshan in the 41st minute really tested Armel Zettiņš's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 42nd minute Wawrzyniec Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armel Zettiņš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Hahay's Wawrzyniec Lewandowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Wawrzyniec Lewandowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wawrzyniec Lewandowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edson Mendes during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Edson Mendes hit a great ball. Armel Zettiņš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Lewandowski in the 51st minute of play. Olivedos's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aigeus Milionis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Hahay defense, Kaká Passos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aigeus Milionis. The Hahay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aigeus Milionis should have stopped the shot. Steve Gerrard hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Armel Zettiņš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawrzyniec Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivedos's Durval Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Simões got free with Aigeus Milionis in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Delmar Berenguer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armel Zettiņš was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivedos's goalkeeper Armel Zettiņš, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 87th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Armel Zettiņš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Glapiak hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Hahay from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Hahay's Delmar Berenguer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armel Zettiņš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armel Zettiņš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olivedos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
