Robbin van Persie might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Horado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbin van Persie ran back to his position shaking his head. Talha Özaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Jerold in the 33rd minute of play forced TeamSystem's goalkeeper Hasan Ceceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbin van Persie in the 43rd minute of the match. Hasan Ceceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 minutes of play, Los Gallos's Vladimiro Jerold made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasan Ceceli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Marcos Abellan made the kick off in the second half. Hasan Ceceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 52nd minute of play. Hasan Ceceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Vladimiro Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muni Cero charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muni Cero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muni Cero hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
