In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's Vladimiro Jerold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin van der Saar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edvin van der Saar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Vladimiro Jerold scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin van der Saar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimiro Jerold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin van der Saar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The Tribos 4EVER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Gallos were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Gol made a kick off. Vladimiro Jerold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin van der Saar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Los Gallos got a corner. Tribos 4EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baldomiro Brais ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vladimiro Jerold was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 57 minutes into the match, Tribos 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Jerold came free, but Edvin van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Leonel Libertad got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Los Gallos's Leonel Libertad got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvin van der Saar made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Vladimiro Jerold sent off a good shot on target. The Tribos 4EVER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Gallos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
