In the 5th minute, Claudio Echeverri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Hendrickx. The goal made the score 1-0. Claudio Echeverri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardo Hendrickx firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kartal Başar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovani de Salles having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartal Başar in the 11th minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Geovani de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Echeverri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ricardo Hendrickx made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goal looked a bit too open when Jaap Stam came free, but Geovani de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Twierdza Osowiec's Jaap Stam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani de Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Twierdza Osowiec's attentive Billy Hendrickx managed to snatch the ball when Lorien Blanco made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Echeverri. Mili Martin might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani de Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mili Martin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Kartal Başar made a precise shot to the right of Geovani de Salles. Ríver Late's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ricardo Hendrickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rick Haremeijer's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Ríver Late's Lorien Blanco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pang Qiang Fan in the 33 minute of the game. Geovani de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartal Başar in the 37th minute of the match. Ricardo Hendrickx was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Claudio Echeverri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Echeverri really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kartal Başar to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Claudio Echeverri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Hendrickx was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Geovani de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kartal Başar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kartal Başar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Twierdza Osowiec's Geovani de Salles threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kartal Başar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ricardo Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Lorien Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ríver Late's Dimas Barrientos was substituted for Claudio Echeverri. Ríver Late's Carl Skytt was substituted for Silvério Vargas. Ríver Late's Emiliano Gai was substituted for Rick Haremeijer. In the 69th match minute, Ríver Late was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorien Blanco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimas Barrientos in the 74th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Sarka in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goalkeeper Geovani de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kartal Başar. Ricardo Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimas Barrientos in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ríver Late's zone, Kartal Başar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani de Salles came out of the goal and Kartal Başar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Kartal Başar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twierdza Osowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Skytt in the 90th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ríver Late's Jose Orlando got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Twierdza Osowiec supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Twierdza Osowiec would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
