Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Şükür Hagi got the match started through his kick off. Amador Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Patton in the 3rd minute of play. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobe Mesmaeckers in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Circus BAF's Amador Paublo got control of the ball when Will Patton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Will Patton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amador Paublo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Viktor Goffyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kobe Mesmaeckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Blacknell having to interfere. Kobe Mesmaeckers struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Grant Blacknell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Circus BAF. Amador Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Rhodes in the 14th minute of play. Kobe Mesmaeckers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grant Blacknell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Kobe Mesmaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute Kobe Mesmaeckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patryk Plučinský kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Kobe Mesmaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
