If Alfonso Sciarretta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Sciarretta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Patton in the 10th minute of play forced 贵阳观山湖联队's goalkeeper 胡天升 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes 贵阳观山湖联队's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexander Cheetham who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Leicester Lions's corner Alexander Cheetham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 胡天升 quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, 贵阳观山湖联队's 胡天升 got control of the ball when Will Patton tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Şükür Hagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, 贵阳观山湖联队's goal looked a bit too open when Will Patton came free, but 胡天升 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 贵阳观山湖联队's 胡天升 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükür Hagi in the 19th minute of play. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugon Pilitowski in the 22nd minute of play. In the 31st minute Hugon Pilitowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the 贵阳观山湖联队 defense, Camron Rhodes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 胡天升. The 贵阳观山湖联队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 胡天升 should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute of the game Michal Budzyn made a throw-in which Will Patton played forward. Thanks to some nice moves Camron Rhodes could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which 胡天升 however easily saved by the left post. In the 45th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Cheeseman to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 胡天升 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 胡天升 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camron Rhodes's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Pilitowski in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Pilitowski came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, 贵阳观山湖联队's Grant Blacknell threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 龙银洲, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 80 minutes into the match, 贵阳观山湖联队's goal looked a bit too open when Will Patton came free, but 胡天升 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Sciarretta might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Blacknell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Sciarretta ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Sciarretta. In the 86th minute Camron Rhodes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 胡天升 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 胡天升 came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Lions's Will Patton. But to his dismay, Will Patton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 贵阳观山湖联队 made a substitution. Onesime Haaeman replaced 龙银洲. In the 95th match minute, 贵阳观山湖联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邵常城 to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leicester Lions had played much better football throughout.
