A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Erasmo Afonso with Terri Steenstrup as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to F.C. København getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Dantas hit a great ball. After 95 minutes, Alex Zanardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Staffordshire Terrier FC and the F.C. København players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Zanardi. After 96 played minutes, F.C. København's Freddie Stavngaard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tony Henwood came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. København reached it. Nicholas Hulvej took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Henwood. Tony Henwood dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When the match was over F.C. København could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Staffordshire Terrier FC throughout the match.
