The crowd rose to their feet as Antônio Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ubaldo Matildo Fillol. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Firmin Abenda kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Santos. Igor Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Houseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute.
