In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bican Lebib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 27th minute of the match. Santiago Cañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Isauro in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selim Gulson in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Cañizares saved Valencia C.F. from getting behind. Bican Lebib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Gustaman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Logan's late challenge caught a ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonny Logan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Logan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
