But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ferdinand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s attentive Lin Xuan Hai managed to snatch the ball when Julian Gmoch made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. If Lin Xuan Hai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.J. 吕布 in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Omar Duardo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute Benny Koks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ got a corner. Vancouver Reds's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benny Koks ran over to the corner to take the kick. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Benny Koks was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Omar Duardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Evelio Urtun got a free kick in the 54th minute. Benny Koks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Duardo having to interfere. In the 59th minute, C.J. 吕布 made a precise shot to the right of Omar Duardo. Vancouver Reds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Kryspin Galagan replaced C.J. 吕布. Aurelio Giammaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vancouver Reds defense, Kryspin Galagan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Duardo. The Vancouver Reds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Duardo should have stopped the shot. Aurelio Giammaria made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Rodrigo Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
