An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Lupea in the 15th minute of play forced ABK Black Warriors73's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Espen Steelers's Kurt Wüthrich in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Espen Steelers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ABK Black Warriors73 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Ştefan Lupea got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ştefan Lupea hit a great ball. A hard shot by Valeriu Zoreanu from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Nikola Portner's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Tobie Canclini got a free kick in the 39th minute. Leontin Nedelciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nikola Portner made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Florin Ciuvică lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Nikola Portner. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Florin Ciuvică made the kick off in the second half. Eduard Zdrenţu's late challenge caught a Espen Steelers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Zdrenţu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Valeriu Zoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ABK Black Warriors73 made a substitution. Dian Šošoka replaced Eduard Zdrenţu. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when ABK Black Warriors73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Zoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Baciadonne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Einstein in the 59th minute. Espen Steelers's Mauro Aebi was substituted for Lenny Rubin. Angelo Baciadonne came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Kurt Wüthrich. But to his dismay, Kurt Wüthrich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Angelo Baciadonne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Weber in the 93rd minute of the match. Angelo Baciadonne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomone Weber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save ABK Black Warriors73 from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Leontin Nedelciu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ABK Black Warriors73 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
