Espen Steelers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Diguinho Mineiro scored to the left of an out of position Nikola Portner, making the score, 1-0. Paul Klee hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Backman came free, but Nikola Portner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Diguinho Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Portner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Nikola Portner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didi Couto. Kurt Wüthrich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Dieguinho Paraíba made a huge save. Espen Steelers were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
