In the 25th minute Oliverios Marcilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jos Van Hinnendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jos Van Hinnendael came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla. But to his dismay, Oliverios Marcilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jos Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverios Marcilla in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 34th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nagyváradi AC's Jos Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristóf Földes in the 40th minute of play. If Oliverios Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jos Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverios Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lico Catarinense hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Dogelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristóf Földes to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nagyváradi AC booed when Dogelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manúel Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Jedrzej Kasprzak made a precise shot to the right of Manúel Bento. Dogelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jos Van Hinnendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliverios Marcilla in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Oliverios Marcilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliverios Marcilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jos Van Hinnendael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliverios Marcilla in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jos Van Hinnendael, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliverios Marcilla got free with Jos Van Hinnendael in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jedrzej Kasprzak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manúel Bento having to make a save. In the 76th minute Jedrzej Kasprzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manúel Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
