Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Mickael De Koster successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th match minute, De krokante kroketjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Burdzel to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes De krokante kroketjes got a freekick which was hit by Lieven Cromefeldt. With a little luck, De krokante kroketjes's Mickael De Koster got control of the ball when Gavino Egoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lieven Cromefeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Cable a Tierra from getting a goal against them. De krokante kroketjes's Matty Wintermans was substituted for Lieven Cromefeldt. Roger Kohn hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cable a Tierra's Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan was substituted for Narciso Bertassi. After 74 played minutes De krokante kroketjes got a freekick which was hit by Roger Kohn. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Saverio Mercurio hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, De krokante kroketjes's Rodolfo Meireles seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rodolfo Meireles the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of De krokante kroketjes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodolfo Meireles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for De krokante kroketjes. Mickael De Koster had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Claudio Echeverri's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the De krokante kroketjes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cable a Tierra.
