Rosendo Gitano was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fabiano Daniele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邓昆烽 in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Er Didia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Gitano. Expresso Ranelagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Er Didia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Atletico San Jacopino's Fabiano Daniele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邓昆烽 in the 30th minute of play. Rosendo Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Marzo in the 31st minute of play. Fabiano Daniele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邓昆烽, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 36 minutes, 邓昆烽 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but 邓昆烽 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Expresso Ranelagh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico San Jacopino's Eraldo Cicchinelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rosendo Gitano. That made the score 3-2 after 65 minutes of play. In the 68th match minute, Atletico San Jacopino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Er Didia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tadeo Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Lluc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atletico San Jacopino's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atletico San Jacopino players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Expresso Ranelagh.
