In the 7thth minute of the game Xu Li Sang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TaTeRo Boys's Michel Neuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Li Sang in the 8th minute of the match. After 12 minutes Jovens Democratas MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olívio Andrade who took care of the corner kick. 15 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Chico de Sousa came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Neuer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Er Håland. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Er Håland in the 24th minute of play. Rok Roll blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Saldanha having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Er Håland came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, Gong Bo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TaTeRo Boys and the Jovens Democratas MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TaTeRo Boys's Raul Seixas got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Er Håland notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Dalmo Saldanha came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by TaTeRo Boys's Er Håland. But to his dismay, Er Håland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 56 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Zagrodny. After a rather tough play, TaTeRo Boys's Er Håland got a free kick in the 62nd minute. TaTeRo Boys made a substitution. Endrik Halland replaced Rok Roll. In the 63rd match minute, TaTeRo Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Er Håland to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, TaTeRo Boys's Michel Neuer got control of the ball when Chico de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Dudu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jovens Democratas MZC's Lúcio Cruz was substituted for Marcel Veiga. 80 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's Endrik Halland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmo Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Endrik Halland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmo Saldanha was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endrik Halland in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Dobromir Zagrodny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Neuer skillfully saved the ball.
