After a rather tough play, Spams's Kasper Larsfelt got a free kick in the 6th minute. Baldomero Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rosario Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Faustino Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kasper Larsfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rosario Escarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosario Escarza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Du Yuan Chao came free, but Faustino Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Larsfelt in the 44th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Spams's Armando Franco was substituted for Carolo Nardo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Du Yuan Chao made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Chano got free with Faustino Jerold in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Du Yuan Chao in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Jerold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ronny Skytt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Jerold was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 64 minutes, Ronny Skytt made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Spams's Faustino Jerold tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Spams's Tin Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosario Escarza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Zef Zoff was substituted for Ronny Skytt. 76 minutes into the match, Spams's goalkeeper Faustino Jerold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Du Yuan Chao. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spams's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Qian Hong Ting was slow to take the kick. During this time LVCVS AVGVSTI's players had a chance to rest. Rosario Escarza came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Spams's Tin Delgado. But to his dismay, Tin Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 82nd minute, Du Yuan Chao made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Jerold. Spams's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 87th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Chano to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Tin Delgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Rosario Escarza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustino Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Chano in the 98th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Faustino Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the LVCVS AVGVSTI players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
