After 3 minutes, Tom Van der Veeken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC zoetwater and the Lε COCO SρσяtiV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Tom Van der Veeken got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Carmelo Tiniebra sped through VC zoetwater's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gong Ying Zheng. In the 10th minute İbrahim Efe Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Laureano Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Sharkin in the 14th minute of play. Tom Van der Veeken was shown his second yellow card after 17 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Carmelo Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Tiniebra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Robert Wells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Sharkin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. VC zoetwater's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 30 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Tiniebra came free, but Gong Ying Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Sharkin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Matia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dawid Siwy during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dawid Siwy hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Tiniebra made a kick off. A collision led to VC zoetwater getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Armand De Hoef hit a great ball. Gusztáv Bács received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Laureano Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lε COCO SρσяtiV booed when VC zoetwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusztáv Bács didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Honorio Bernaldo was substituted for Freddy Hernando. After 84 played minutes VC zoetwater got a freekick which was hit by Gusztáv Bács. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 85th minute, but Gong Ying Zheng got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving VC zoetwater hanging dry this time. Dawid Siwy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes, Geraldo Bezerra made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
