Alfred Dziatkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Aleksander Oryl put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rosario Escarza. With a little luck, WZG Sandomierz's Alfred Dziatkowski got control of the ball when Baldomero Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Du Yuan Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Dziatkowski was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Du Yuan Chao to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Ronny Skytt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WZG Sandomierz's Alfred Dziatkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ronny Skytt put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Dziatkowski. Mckinley Dufresne kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Du Yuan Chao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alfred Dziatkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. WZG Sandomierz made a substitution. Viggo Vassenius replaced Ryszard Siekierka. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Felipe Gutierrez was substituted for Venancio Olayo. Rosario Escarza was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfred Dziatkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Chano's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Baldomero Chano put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Dziatkowski. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see LVCVS AVGVSTI lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
