Spectators: 9278 (Terracing: 6960, Seating: 2134, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when J.P. Kapar kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Baltasar Frasquito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Fumey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roncourt's Brian Fumey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Frasquito in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Roncourt defense, Baltasar Frasquito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brian Fumey. The Roncourt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brian Fumey should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Frasquito in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Fumey saved Roncourt from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match Roncourt got a corner. Nevşehirspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. J.P. Kapar ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that J.P. Kapar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluca Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thierry Lhermite in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluca Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léon Cailleaux. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léon Cailleaux in the 38th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Fumey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıdvan Kurushov in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Lhermite came free, but Gianluca Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Fumey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Nevşehirspor were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Roncourt's Brian Fumey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Roncourt from getting a goal against them. Ragnar Åberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Fumey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.P. Kapar in the 65th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Frasquito got free with Brian Fumey in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gianluca Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Cailleaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Lhermite came free, but Gianluca Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Léon Cailleaux came free, but Gianluca Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
