When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Juan Lebron put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Odin Saue. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Abubakar in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Rune Saltnes got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes of play, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Vincent Abubakar made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odin Saue made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Måns Sandberg sent off a good shot on target. Stig-Arne Deckberg got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Filcho Slivkov. In the 37th minute Juan Lebron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Saue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Huang Fei Ting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Saue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
